We pump out septic tanks for off-mains properties within 70km of Bairnsdale, from Lindenow and Wy Yung through to Omeo, Orbost, the Tambo Valley and the Lakes fringe. You get a fixed price upfront, and once you book a date we take care of the rest.
We take the waste to a licensed disposal site
Standard pump-out interval for a 4-person household. Leave it longer and you risk solids in the trench.
We drive out, pump the tank and put the lid back on, usually in about an hour. Rural blocks can take a little longer when access is tight.
You get the price before we book the truck, and that is the price you pay.
Plenty of East Gippsland properties are off the town sewer: rural blocks out toward Lindenow and Wy Yung, alpine homes around Omeo and Dinner Plain, bush blocks past Buchan, and holiday and permanent homes along the lakes fringe at Metung and Eagle Point. Most of the time the system looks after itself, until it needs a pump-out.
If any of this sounds familiar, you are probably due:
A straightforward process, from your first call through to the lid going back on.
Tell us roughly where the tank is, system type if you know it (septic, AWTS, holding tank), and last pump-out date if you remember.
We agree the price before the truck moves. It covers the pump-out, the waste disposal and putting the lid back on properly.
Usually within a week for non-urgent pump-outs, sooner if you're flooding. We'll text you the morning of the job.
The truck arrives, we empty the tank and seal the lid, and we leave the site as clean as we found it.
We cover six regions inside a 70km radius of Bairnsdale - rural blocks, alpine towns, lakes-fringe properties and farms that run their own septic system.

The centres of Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Paynesville and Sale are on mains, so septic pumping doesn't apply there. Plenty of rural blocks and properties on the outskirts of those towns still run their own septic though, so if you're not sure, give us a call and we can check.
Plenty of older properties don't have a marker. We find it on the day, usually with a probe rod and a bit of digging to get down to the lid. On long-grass paddocks we regularly turn up tanks that haven't been opened in 20 years.
If you've got an AWTS (aerated wastewater treatment system), the pump-out frequency and process is different to standard septic. Tell us the brand if you know it and we'll match the right job to it.
Excellent service, Sam, Nate & Ethan all very professional, neatly dressed in uniforms, but even better, very polite, caring and no mess. Everything explained and costs presented before start of work. Thank you.

For a 4-person household it's usually every 3 to 5 years. Fewer people and lighter use means a longer interval, and a bigger family or a holiday home that gets a lot of use over the holidays will be shorter. If you can't remember your last pump-out, you're probably due.
It depends on the tank size, the location and the access. We quote a fixed price before booking, so you get the number before the truck moves. Most standard pump-outs sit in a predictable range, and really remote blocks or tight access can be a bit higher.
No. Liquid-waste disposal is licensed under EPA Victoria - the waste has to go to an approved treatment site, and only a licensed transporter can do that. Even if you could pump it, you can't legally dispose of it.
This is common on older Bairnsdale and Sale properties. We probe and find the tank, usually within an hour or two if it isn't marked. There can be a small extra on the price for that, which is far cheaper than guessing wrong.
Yes. AWTS systems still need a periodic sludge pump-out, usually less often than a conventional septic, but they do still build up over time. Tell us the brand when you book.
